Fonts are nice. Fonts are pretty. I like to use custom fonts when I can help it. I have a custom font on my android phone. I have a custom font on my terminals.
OK first off the font I'm using right now, on Git Bash for Windows, to SSH into my VPS and edit an HTML file with Vim (I'll let the reader decide if this is a sensible workflow).
Amstrad PC-2y from The Ultimate Oldschool PC Font Pack.
It's beautiful. I love it. I've never even been near an Amstrad PC. The other fonts in this collection, also very good, but the Amstrad one's my favourite.

The fonts I use for Godot are a little different. Now, don't laugh - I'm using Comic Sans for the interface, and a monospace version called Comic Shanns for the code editor.
It's very nice to look at. I don't need to squint anymore, even with the huge amount of text that Godot has you contend with. With Comic Sans, as opposed to the default font, I can keep the text at a small size and leave more room for the other stuff.
I'll briefly mention the font on my phone. It's called Harmonia Sans Condensed and it was available from Samsung's Galaxy Store when I was first setting up this phone. I think, if I had the freedom to choose any font I wanted, I would pick a different one, but still. It's quite nice. Narrow, but readable.
On my Arch Linux I'm currently using the Terminus font, for the Linux terminal and for xterm and for i3 window manager. And, I think I'm happy with it? I have no complaints, exactly. It's just that I tried using Comic Shanns, but it's somewhat lacking in characters. :( Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead uses a lot of characters.
I don't just look at fonts because I'm a nerd who likes to poke computers with a stick. I'm also a game developer! And it's important to have nice fonts in a game so that it's pretty and also so your players can read.
Lately the main place I've been looking when I want a font for a project is GGBotNet's itch.io page. Are they a botnet? Are they one or more hardworking humans? I don't know but their fonts are very pretty. Particular favourites of mine are Yulong and QuinqueFive.
If I can't find what I want there I'll go to dafont.com, lotta fonts there and it's easy to see how they're licensed. Though, it does take me a while to find something there I like.
